Pwllheli has a rich history and a close knit community. The town grew around the shipbuilding and fishing industries and the granite quarry. With a population of around 4,000 people, the town offers stunning coastlines, picturesque landscapes, and a vibrant local culture. It enjoys a steady flow of visitors all year round.
Built in 1875 Y Tŵr boasts a central location on the high street. The building once served as a bustling centre - a hotel, restaurant, bar, function room - and hosted many social events. We believe that Y Tŵr could once again become a vibrant community hub that would breathe new life into the town and help to restore the high street..
